Midnight Special
“He's not like us.”
Roy Tomlin (Michael Shannon) is a father on the run with his young son, Alton (Jaeden Martell), whose special powers have made him a target. Jeff Nichols follows them through the Southern night with Roy's old friend Lucas (Joel Edgerton) at the wheel. The pair of them are hunted by Agent Sevier (Adam Driver) and a congregation that wants the boy, and Roy has to get him where he is going in time.
