Mikey and Nicky

“...don't expect to like 'em.”

Nicky (John Cassavetes) is shut in a cheap hotel room with an ulcer and a conviction that a local mob boss wants him dead, so he phones Mikey (Peter Falk), his friend since childhood. Mikey comes, and the two spend a long night moving through the city together. Elaine May lets their bickering, jokes and old grievances run on, a loyalty that has lasted years and has never been easy.
