Mindhorn

“It's truth time!”

Richard Thorncroft (Julian Barratt) was once Detective Mindhorn, the star of a 1980s television series, and he has spent the years since on the far side of fame. Then the police come to him with a serial killer who will speak only to the detective he believes is real. Sean Foley plays the whole thing at a dry, straight-faced pace, and Barratt never winks at how ridiculous the situation is.
