Mindwalk

“A film for passionate thinkers”

Jack Edwards (Sam Waterston) has lost a run for president and come to the French island of Mont Saint-Michel to get away from politics. There he meets Thomas Harriman (John Heard), a poet, and Sonia Hoffman (Liv Ullmann), a physicist, and the three of them talk through a single day. Bernt Amadeus Capra gives the poet and the physicist a real disagreement, and Sonia's patience with Jack's habit of arguing from the old playbook is what the day keeps returning to.
