Minions: The Rise of Gru

(2022)Directed by Kyle Balda87 min · PGAnimation, Comedy, Crime, Science Fiction, Family
“A villain will rise.”

Eleven-year-old Gru (Steve Carell) idolizes the Vicious 6, a supervillain team he's desperate to join, and he has a plan to prove he's evil enough. His helpers are the Minions (Pierre Coffin), who pitch in even when they only half understand the job. Kyle Balda sends them off together, Gru and his small yellow crew standing shoulder to shoulder, ready to be bad.
