Mini's First Time

“Sex. Murder. Blackmail. There's a first time for everything.”

Mini (Nikki Reed) wants out from under her drunken, unloving mother Diane, so she seduces her stepfather Martin (Alec Baldwin) and talks him into a scheme to have Diane declared insane. Nick Guthe sets the plot moving fast, with Jeff Goldblum and Luke Wilson as the men circling the household. Underneath the dark comedy is a plain question of what a person will do to be free of the people who raised them.
