Rajesh Shivakumar (R. Madhavan), a college troublemaker, passes himself off as Rajiv Samuel (Abbas), an engineer working abroad, so he can get close to Reena Joseph (Reema Sen), the woman Rajiv is engaged to marry. His grandfather Subbuni (Nagesh) and his sidekick Chockalingam (Vivek) help him keep the act going. Gautham Vasudev Menon, in his first film, keeps the songs bright and the comedy quick.
