“Everybody runs.”

In 2054 Washington, the PreCrime unit stops murders before they happen, using visions from three psychics called precogs. Chief John Anderton (Tom Cruise) runs the department until the precogs name him as a future killer. Now hunted by his own agency and a sharp young officer named Danny Witwer (Colin Farrell), Anderton chases down the source of the vision, forced to confront what he might become if the future is truly written before we act.
