Minuscule: Valley of the Lost Ants

“An Epic Adventure At Ground Level.”

A picnic left behind in a quiet clearing is enough to start a war between two tribes of ants. A young ladybug lands in the middle of it, befriends Mandible, the leader of the black ants, and helps defend the anthill against the red warriors led by Butor. Giraud and Szabo set computer-animated insects against live-action landscapes with almost no spoken dialogue, and the story rests on a small creature choosing to stand beside strangers.
