Miracle in Cell No. 7

“If caught, they're all doomed!”

Lee Yong-gu (Ryu Seung-ryong), a developmentally disabled father, is arrested for a murder he did not commit and locked up away from his six-year-old daughter, Ye-seung (Kal So-won). Inside his cell, the hardened criminals he shares it with slowly take him in, and they start working out how to get a child past the prison walls. Lee Hwan-kyung plays the cell block for laughs first and tears after, so the jokes and the grief sit in the same small room.
