Miracle Mile

“There are 70 minutes to the end of the world. Where can you hide?”

Harry Washello (Anthony Edwards) has just met Julie Peters (Mare Winningham) when a stranger's phone call tells him missiles will hit Los Angeles in less than an hour. Steve De Jarnatt sets the story over a single day, mostly in real time, in the Miracle Mile neighborhood where Harry starts looking for her. Harry stands with the receiver still in his hand, the city around him carrying on as if nothing had been said.
