Miracles: The Canton Godfather

“Meet the original gangster!”

A country boy named Charlie Chen-Wah (Jackie Chan) buys a bunch of lucky roses from an old woman on the street, and somehow ends up leading a gang in 1930s Hong Kong. When her daughter comes to visit, Charlie and Yang Luming (Anita Mui Yim-fong), a singer at the gang's nightclub, set out to do the old lady a good turn. Chan, who also directed, keeps the story anchored in the nightclub and Luming at its stage.
