Misery

“Paul Sheldon used to write for a living. Now, he’s writing to stay alive.”

Paul Sheldon (James Caan) is a celebrated novelist who has just finished a manuscript when a car accident leaves him with broken legs in a remote Colorado house. His rescuer is Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates), a nurse who says she is his biggest fan. Rob Reiner keeps nearly everything in one bedroom, and Paul must bring back the character he killed off or find out what Annie will do if he doesn't.
