Miss Julie
On Midsummer Eve in 19th-century Sweden, Miss Julie (Anita Björk), the Count's daughter, leaves the dance and goes looking for Jean (Ulf Palme), her father's valet. Alf Sjöberg adapts Strindberg's play, and Jean answers her advances with a bitterness he has kept for years. Underneath it runs a fight over rank and over who holds power between a man and a woman.
