Miss Meadows

“She doesn't play well with others.”

Miss Meadows (Katie Holmes) walks to her teaching job each morning in a pastel dress, tap shoes and white gloves, greeting everyone with perfect manners. She also carries a pistol, and she deals with anyone who offends her sense of decency on her own terms. Karen Leigh Hopkins plays the cheerful surface and the cold intent as one thing, and lets the sheriff (James Badge Dale) drift closer to the truth.
