“RITA TURNS ON THE HEAT IN 3D”

Sadie Thompson (Rita Hayworth) wants only to get off the island where her boat has been stranded in quarantine, but she cannot help stirring up every marine on the base. Curtis Bernhardt sets her among the barracks and the nightlife, with Sgt. Phil O'Hara (Aldo Ray) the first to fall and the missionary Alfred Davidson (José Ferrer) watching from the other side. She keeps singing and dancing anyway, a woman with a past trying to get through a few days of waiting.
