Miss Stevens

“Everybody needs a chaperone.”

Rachel Stevens (Lily Rabe) is stuck at a crossroads in her personal life, and the film never says exactly where the road splits. A high school English teacher, she is handed three students, Billy (Timothée Chalamet), Margot (Lili Reinhart) and Sam, to chaperone on a weekend trip to a drama competition. Julia Hart's debut puts her in a car with teenagers who see more than she means to show, and she has only a weekend to get through it.
