Mission: Impossible III

“The mission begins.”

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is pulled back into active duty when a weapons dealer named Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman) kidnaps a young woman. Hunt assembles his team to pursue Davian across continents before the dealer can use what he's stolen. J.J. Abrams constructs the action in short, sharp sequences that pile momentum on top of momentum, each setup leading to the next without letting the audience catch its breath.
