Mississippi Grind

“We can't lose.”

Gerry (Ben Mendelsohn) is a talented gambler who has been losing for a long time, until he meets Curtis (Ryan Reynolds), a younger poker player who talks easily and seems to win just by sitting down. Gerry talks him into a road trip down the Mississippi toward a high stakes game in New Orleans, stopping at every bar, racetrack and casino. Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck keep it loose, but Gerry is chasing one more shot while the money in his pocket gets thinner.
