Mistress

“The Director Had A Vision. The Producers All Had Girlfriends.”

Marvin Landisman (Robert Wuhl) gets his old screenplay read by a producer, Jack Roth (Martin Landau), who sets out to find the money to make it. Every backer who signs on, among them Evan M. Wright (Robert De Niro), comes with a mistress he wants written into the picture. Barry Primus, in his first film as director, leaves Marvin at his desk, revising the pages one more time.
