Mo' Better Blues

Night after night, trumpeter Bleek Gilliam (Denzel Washington) leads his quartet through the set, and Giant (Spike Lee), his manager and oldest friend, keeps the club's business from falling apart. Spike Lee follows Bleek between the bandstand and two girlfriends he can't choose between, while Shadow Henderson (Wesley Snipes) waits on sax for his turn. Bleek gives everything to the horn and little to anyone near him, and he has no idea how much rests on Giant.
