Three years after the first film, the people of Oceania live on scattered islands, cut off from one another by the sea. Moana (Auliʻi Cravalho) hears a call from her wayfinding ancestors and sets out with Maui (Dwayne Johnson) and a new crew toward long-lost waters, directed by David G. Derrick Jr. and Jason Hand. Their canoe pushes across open ocean, headed for Motufetu, an island no one has seen.
