Moana is the spirited daughter of a Polynesian village chief, raised to lead her people but drawn to the ocean her ancestors once crossed. When her island begins to die, she seeks out Maui (Dwayne Johnson), a demigod and master wayfarer who stole the heart of Te Fiti and must return it to restore the world. Without him, her people have no future; without her, he has no way back.
