The Dawn Rebellion has ended, and Degwin negotiates with Vice Admiral Revil for the full withdrawal of Federation forces from Side 3. Dozle, scolded for failing to look after Garma, sends Char Aznable (Shuichi Ikeda) down to Earth, where he takes a job piloting a mobile worker at a construction site in Manaus. Yoshikazu Yasuhiko and Takashi Imanishi follow him to a casino, where he meets a young Lalah Sune (Saori Hayami).
