Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin VI – Rise of the Red Comet
On January 23, U.C. 0079, Zeon and the Earth Federation meet in the Battle of Loum at Side 5, where the outnumbered Zeon forces send in a regiment of humanoid mobile suits. Char Aznable (Shuichi Ikeda) flies a red Zaku II through it and comes out a Lieutenant Commander with a new name, the Red Comet. Yoshikazu Yasuhiko and Takashi Imanishi stage the fighting in clean, hard-edged lines, with Amuro Ray's first glimpse of the Gundam waiting at Side 7.
