Mockingbird Don't Sing

The story begins in Los Angeles, where a girl found after nearly thirteen years locked in a room has to be taught that other people exist. Sandra Tannen (Melissa Errico) is a linguistics professor at UCLA, and she takes on the girl's care, working alongside Dr. Norm Glazer (Joe Regalbuto) and Dr. Judy Bingham (Sean Young). Harry Bromley Davenport tells it through Sandra's eyes, as she builds a bond with a child who has no words.
