Mojave Moon

Al (Danny Aiello) is eating at his favorite restaurant when a young woman named Ellie (Angelina Jolie) asks him for a ride out of the city, into the Mojave Desert, where her mother lives. Kevin Dowling's film has him driving her out there, only to find himself drawn to the mother, Julie (Anne Archer), whose boyfriend Boyd (Michael Biehn) looks ready to snap. Al stands in the glare of the desert, a long way from his booth.
