Moliere

Jailed over his debts, Molière (Romain Duris) is bailed out by the wealthy M. Jourdain (Fabrice Luchini), who wants help winning over a widowed marquise. The price is that Molière move into the house and pass himself off as a priest. Laurent Tirard stages the deception among a household that includes Jourdain's wife Elmire (Laura Morante), and Molière's debts, his name and his stage career all depend on nobody seeing through him.
