Moll Flanders

In the early 1700s, Moll Flanders (Robin Wright) is the daughter of a thief, left to a nunnery after her mother's execution. She runs from it as a teenager and ends up on the streets of London, then in the house of Mrs. Allworthy (Stockard Channing). Pen Densham follows her there and in the years after, with a servant named Hibble (Morgan Freeman) looking out for her, as a woman with no money and no family tries to make her own way.
