Mom and Dad Save the World

“Boldly going where no parents have gone before.”

Marge Nelson (Teri Garr) just wants out of an ordinary married life, and she gets noticed instead by Emperor Tod Spengo (Jon Lovitz), who plucks her and her husband Dick (Jeffrey Jones) off the Earth with a giant magnet. Spengo wants to make Marge his bride, then blow up the planet. Greg Beeman sends Dick after her in a hero's costume borrowed from old Flash Gordon serials, standing among the emperor's slow-witted subjects.
