Mon oncle Antoine

Benoit (Jacques Gagnon) is a boy working in his uncle's general store in rural Quebec, close to Christmas, where the same family also runs the town's undertaking business. Jean Duceppe plays Uncle Antoine, and Claude Jutra also appears as Fernand, the clerk. Around the counter and the shop's two trades, Benoit comes to the age where he starts to notice what the grown-ups around him are carrying.
