Monkey Man

“One small ember can burn down everything.”

Every night in an underground fight club, a man known only as Kid (Dev Patel) pulls on a gorilla mask and lets better-known fighters beat him bloody for cash. Dev Patel, directing for the first time, follows him as he finds a way into the enclave of the city's powerful men, his scarred hands hiding years of anger. Kid lives on little and has never forgotten what was taken from him.
