Monkey Up

“The fast and the furriest.”

Monty (Skylar Astin) is a talking monkey who has his heart set on becoming a movie star, and he has no plan beyond fame and fortune. Robert Vince keeps the film in family-comedy territory, with John Ratzenberger as Mr. Hartz and Danny Woodburn as Angelino Cappello among the people Monty runs into. The more famous he tries to get, the more it puts in doubt the thing he never went looking for, a family of his own.
