Monsieur Vincent
Vincent de Paul (Pierre Fresnay), a priest in seventeenth-century France, goes out among the poor and the sick and starts founding two religious orders. The film follows him through those years, with Pierre Dux and Aimé Clariond among the powerful men he must answer to as Chancelier Séguier and Cardinal de Richelieu. Maurice Cloche keeps the pace unhurried and the camera quiet beside him.
