Monster House

“There goes the neighborhood.”

DJ (Mitchel Musso) is a kid who spends Halloween week watching the house across the street, certain it is alive. His friend Chowder (Sam Lerner) and a girl named Jenny (Spencer Locke) join him in sneaking up to it, while its owner Nebbercracker (Steve Buscemi) screams at anyone who steps on the lawn. Gil Kenan, directing his first feature, animates the whole neighborhood in a slightly warped, toy-like way, so the suburb itself feels a little off.
