DJ (Mitchel Musso) has spent the year watching the creepy house across the street, its owner Mr. Nebbercracker (Steve Buscemi) a shuffling figure behind curtained windows. When Halloween arrives, DJ and his friends Chowder (Sam Lerner) and Jenny (Spencer Locke) realize the house itself is alive and hungry. Gil Kenan animates the house in stop-motion, giving it a weight and appetite that makes the whole block feel trapped inside a bad dream.
