“Hope. Fear. Pleasure. Pain. Fight. Survive.”

A dragon bears down on Aiden's village, and Aiden (Dante Basco), a young hunter, goes out to fight it before the place burns. Steve Yamamoto, directing his first feature, adapts Capcom's Monster Hunter games into a CG fantasy built around a hunter and his companions, including Julius (Brando Eaton). Underneath the chases sits one plain idea: people and monsters share a world, and neither one can simply be cleared out of it.
