Monster Summer

“It's the summer when everything changed.”

Noah Reed (Mason Thames) is a teenager spending what should be a carefree summer on his island with his friends. Then a mysterious force starts disrupting the season, and the kids team up with retired police detective Gene Carruthers (Mel Gibson) to find out what is behind it. David Henrie keeps the story in the territory of kids on bikes and a mystery too big for them, where friends and a grown-up who believes them are enough to take on the dark.
