Susan Murphy (Reese Witherspoon) is an ordinary woman when a meteor turns her into a fifty-foot giant. The military locks her away with other creatures: B.O.B. (Seth Rogen), a gelatinous blob; Dr. Cockroach Ph.D. (Hugh Laurie), a mad scientist in an insect body; and The Missing Link (Will Arnett), a primordial fish-man. When an alien overlord threatens the planet, Susan and these misfits discover they work better together than any of them could alone.
