Susan Murphy (Reese Witherspoon) is about to be married when a meteor full of space gunk lands on her, and she shoots up to nearly fifty feet tall. The military hauls her off to a secret compound, renames her Ginormica, and locks her in with a group of monsters, including B.O.B. (Seth Rogen) and Dr. Cockroach (Hugh Laurie). Directors Conrad Vernon and Rob Letterman give her a first friendship with people as out of place as she is.
