Monstrum

“An ancient man-eating monster awakens.”

In 1528 Joseon, rumors reach the royal palace of a creature the peasants call the Monstrum, and the court sends the soldier Yun-gyeom (Kim Myung-min) to find out whether it is real. He has a daughter, Myeong-i (Lee Hye-ri), and a king, Jung-jong, whose reign began in a blood bath and has not settled since. Huh Jong-ho sets the hunt in a kingdom already rotten with plots, and the film's last picture is Yun-gyeom alone with the rumor.
