“A sultry, erotic comedy.”

Marilyn Jordan (Susan Anspach), an American wife in Stockholm, wants out of a household where she is expected to be calm, and her behavior shows it. She sets the sheets on fire while her husband (Erland Josephson) sleeps, and she poisons the dog's milk, then advises the dog not to drink it. Dušan Makavejev follows her from the family dining table, where she crawls under it to sing, to an airport customs desk, where she is held for carrying pruning shears.
