Moomins on the Riviera

(2014)Directed by Xavier Picard80 min · GAnimation, Comedy, Family

The Moomin family sets out to sea, and storms and a stretch on a desert island carry them, Little My and Snorkmaiden along, to the Riviera. Xavier Picard directs the hand-drawn comedy, with Moominpappa (Mats Långbacka) and Moominmamma (Maria Sid) taking their family into a place that tests how well they stay together. Underneath the gags, the film is about whether a family can keep its shape when the world around it changes.
