“In the outer zone... you need a friend”

In 2038, a mining corporation down to its last mineral moon is losing its expensive robots on the flight home, so it sends an undercover agent, Felix Stone (Michael Paré), to find out where they go. The station is guarded by prisoners, since nobody else wants the job, and Roland Emmerich fills it with corruption, fear and hatred. Stone ends up between rival groups, and his bond with Terry Morgan (Lisa Eichhorn) is the one thing he can't fake.
