“Virginity, sex, the big cry, and other salty topics.”
Rebecca Trager Lott (Elizabeth Perkins) is a young widow who cannot make sense of her husband's death, and the grief has not let up. The only person she lets close is the housepainter (Jon Bon Jovi) working at her home, while her sister Lucy (Gwyneth Paltrow), her stepmother Alberta (Kathleen Turner) and her friend Sylvie (Whoopi Goldberg) circle her. David Anspaugh adapts Ellen Simon's own play, written after her husband died, and lets it stay mostly talk.
