Moothon

“Bhai Arrives”

On an island in Lakshadweep, a child named Mulla (Sanjana Dipu) has one question: where did her elder brother Akbar go, and why has he never come back? She sets out for Mumbai to find him, and Geetu Mohandas follows her into a city where she meets Moosa (Dileesh Pothan) and Salim (Shashank Arora), speaking Malayalam in one scene and Hindi in the next. The film keeps coming back to how much a child will carry for the sake of one person she refuses to lose.
