In the Spider-Man Universe, Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) is a biochemist dying of a rare blood disorder, and he runs out of conventional options. He tries a desperate experimental cure, and Daniel Espinosa follows the treatment as it works on his body with a speed that unsettles even him. Alongside his surrogate brother Milo (Matt Smith), Michael has to decide whether the remedy is worth more than the disease it replaced.
