Hanzo Hasashi (Patrick Seitz) wants one thing after Sub-Zero kills his family: the man responsible. Exiled to the Netherrealm, he agrees to serve the sorcerer Quan Chi and comes back as Scorpion. Ethan Spaulding runs that vengeance alongside a tournament plot, where Liu Kang (Jordan Rodrigues), Sonya Blade (Jennifer Carpenter) and Johnny Cage (Joel McHale) fight Shang Tsung's gladiators, and Hanzo keeps burning with a grief that serves only Quan Chi.
