Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins

“Get Tough. Get Mean. Get Ready.”

The tournament takes place on Shang Tsung's island, where three defenders of Earth are headed in Joseph Francis's animated feature. Liu Kang (Randy Hamilton), Sonya Blade (Jennifer Hale) and Johnny Cage (Jeff Bennett) travel there under the guidance of Rayden (Ron Feinberg), who trains them to master their powers before the fighting starts. Win the tournament and Earth survives, lose it and the world goes with them.
