Morvern Callar

Morvern Callar (Samantha Morton) wants out of her small Scottish port town, and the chance arrives when her boyfriend kills himself and leaves behind an unpublished novel and a sum of money. She tells no one, keeps the manuscript, and sets about becoming someone else, her friend Lanna (Kathleen McDermott) beside her. Lynne Ramsay stays close on Morvern as she drifts from one place to the next, still working out who she is without him.
