Moscow, Belgium

A supermarket parking lot in Moscou, a working-class neighbourhood on the edge of Ghent, ends with a dented truck bumper, a shouting match, and police stepping between two strangers. Matty (Barbara Sarafian), a mother of three, takes a hot bath afterward to settle herself, and the phone rings with Johnny (Jurgen Delnaet) on the line, apologizing. Christophe Van Rompaey leaves her in the tub, the water cooling, the receiver at her ear.
