Mother of George

In Brooklyn, a Yoruba wedding fills a banquet hall with dancing, and Adenike (Danai Gurira) steps out of it a new wife to Ayodele (Isaach de Bankolé), who runs a small restaurant. Andrew Dosunmu follows the couple as the months pass with no child, and Ayodele's mother, Ma Ayo (Bukky Ajayi), grows pointed about it. Adenike carries the family's expectation alone, and it bears down on her with every month that passes.
